Oral health refers to the state of being free from chronic mouth and face pain, oral and throat cancer, infections and sores, gum disease, tooth decay, and tooth loss.[1] Oral health is essential for a person's daily function such as speaking, biting, chewing and swallowing. It can impact a person's psychosocial wellbeing.[1] Having good oral health means practising regular oral hygiene, eating a nutritious diet, and having access to dental care.
